Performance
Regardless of your needs, the E-350 Cutaway's 7.3-liter V8 engine is more than capable of meeting them, with 350 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque available. With a GVWR of up to 10,050 pounds in its single-rear-wheel models and as much as 12,500 pounds in its dual-rear-wheel models, carrying a camper or large fitted box around Gresham is no problem.
Also available is a 10,000-pound maximum towing capacity for trailers, enhanced by the vehicle's six-speed automatic transmission. Not only does this transmission offer smooth shifting in virtually all scenarios, but it also features Ford TorqShift technology with tow/haul mode, which helps adapt to different load conditions.
Design
The interior of the Ford truck keeps convenience and productivity in mind. You have your choice between a pair of bucket seats or captain's chairs, while three 12-volt power points and two USB ports are throughout the cabin to keep smartphones and laptops charged and ready. For GPS tracking, there's also the Fleet Telematics modem located in the cab, so you'll always know where the truck is if others are driving it around Beaverton or to further destinations.
To make climbing aboard easier, you can opt for a pair of door-length running boards. Several different upfitter packages are available to convert the vehicle's design to your business needs, including the Shuttle Bus Prep Package and Motorhome Prep Package. Both trailers and upfit bodies come in a wide array of different sizes, and a pair of telescoping side mirrors come standard outside the vehicle, as well as a pair of headlamps with an automatic on/off feature.
Technology
This cutaway's tech features are all impressive as well, including the Bluetooth radio, which allows you to listen to music or make hands-free calls from your mobile device while on the go. If you'd like to connect aftermarket accessories to the vehicle, whether it's a GPS or custom lighting, you can easily do so with the four available upfitter switches found in the dash. The Adaptive Cruise Control combines multiple advanced systems to automate much of the driving process while you're on highways near Vancouver, WA.
Safety
Forward Collision Warning will let you know whenever it detects dangerous situations up ahead to warn you of hazards on the road. Automatic Emergency Braking will jump into action to slow the vehicle down if you're unable to respond quickly.
For rainy days in Portland or elsewhere, the Electronic Stability Control and traction control systems both work to give the vehicle some extra grip when the wheels need it the most. For safety on steep inclines, there's Hill Start Assist, an advanced feature capable of keeping the vehicle in place for a bit longer after you've removed your foot from the brake pedal.
